Men in Trees

I'm sure if everyone knows, but I just loved the series Sex and The City, and was really upset when it ended, so, when i heard that Men in Trees were by the same producers, I eagerly awaited for the pilot...

for those of you that haven't even heard of it? where have you been? definitely not driving on the M1 in JHb, cos there has been this huge billboard advertising it for two months before it began...

Anyway: the story is based on this woman, who is an author of a best-seller, based on what actually men are all about,.... But she has been recently dumped by her Fiancee 9she caught him in bed with someone) and so, she packed up and found herself in Alaska... with a huge shortage of women.... Its quite entertaining, and I can really relate to this woman..

Some things that she said in last weeks episode, really made lots of sense and i think that its something that everyone wants...
"I'm just scared that when it gets better, and i know it will, there wont be anyone to share my joy " ... ( this is also my greatest fear, to be alone)
" you Can't be the best to someone special till You the best to yourself... ( that's why you have to love yourself, before someone else can love you)
and
this last quote is for all the single friends:
Being alone isn't something to suffer through, its something to celebrate and when the universe will see how happy you are, it will celebrate with you...

Men in Trees is on air, on Thursday evening at 19H30 on DStv series channel 36...

Have a lovely weekend !!!
