Serendipity
A friend of mine and i were having one of those 'meaning of life' conversations' and and since we are both scientists, i decided to ask her if she does believe in serendipity (since Single guy has linked me with a question...
Im sure most of u have an idea as to what i think serendipity is, but, i'd like everyone elses thoughts please...
but, (here's where the thinking too much bit comes in) what if you think its serendipity, and you have found your soul-mate but you don't know whether the second feels the same/they don't feel the same/they did feel that instant connection/spark/click , but they were stupid to realise that this was it??? what then?
I was chatting to MJ and he thinks that i just land up with jerks, so, maybe its a part of my serendipity to just find these Jerks... anyone know how i can change this god-awful jerk-luck ??? oh yeah, we have also coined a word: the female of a jerk will henceforth be called Jerkette... :) :)

Here is the thing, dont have any pre-conceived ideas of the perfect and surprisingly the right ones comes alone. You know how people say I wasnt looking and he/she just came along. And yes there is such a thing as true love. Maybe all the jerks are out there to make you have just that little bit more appreciation when you do find them?

Ooh i love those 'meaning of life' conversations ....
Serendipity ... i believe its about the same as fate or destiny ... Like what are the chances that you end up in the same place as the person whom you believe is your soul-mate just by chance ... Could be a sign, some sort of divine intervention?!
As to your second part ... its the worst thing when you have absolutely no idea how the other person feels and you cant ask them straight out for fear of getting the 'wrong' answer ... What a predicament!
I think everybody is put in your life to teach you some lesson and you'll keep ending up with these 'jerks' till you learn it, so maybe look for common factors in all the past jerks and u'll get your lesson ... hopefully then your luck will change for the greater :)

o i dunno hey, maybe a jerk is SLIGHTLY better than the raving lunatics/mental cases/fringe elements/psychotics/deranged folk who've been passing my way lately. hmmm.... Least you can see a jerk coming a mile away eh :P

i always thought it was chance or coincidence.
i dont think i believe in maktub, that everything in my life is written down for me. if so, whats the point in living??
